Folio 311. Letter from James L Barker, Clerk to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, acknowledging the letter of 23 February 1839, Paper number: 1197/B/1839, stating that the work applies to the valuers severally and that about seven days will be needed to value the houses and land and nearly the same to value the colliery, waggonways, iron works etc. Annotated: sanction the work, also the acreage is 1553 and the number of houses is 363. Paper number: 1460/B/1839. See also Paper number: 1197/B/1838. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
