Letter from Joseph Lowndes, Clerk to the Guardians of the Wolstanton and Burslem Union, to the Poor Law Commission, replying to their letter of 20 January relating to the hiring of premises at Burslem as accommodation for the board of guardians. The letter enclosed a 'Form of Order' signed by a majority of the board of guardians [not included]. Paper number: 1820/B/1846. Poor Law Union Number 415. Counties: Staffordshire.
