- Folio 208. Letter from Joseph Lowndes, Clerk to the Guardians of the Wolstanton and Burslem Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, requesting erasure of the name of William Rogers from the 'Return of Lunatics and Idiots chargeable to Wolstanton Parish and in the County Lunatic Asylum'. Rogers was not chargeable on 1 January 1846 (the date of the return), but the relieving officer was not informed of his discharge until after the return had been sent. Annotation: correct return citing letter. Paper number: 933/B/1846. Poor Law Union Number 415. Counties: Staffordshire.
