Folios 172-173. Letter from Joseph Lowndes, Clerk to the Guardians of the Wolstanton and Burslem Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing the Return of the Number of Persons Vaccinated under the Provisions of the Vaccination Extension Act, in the year ended 29 September 1845. Enclosure: 'Vaccination Extension Act' Form from Joseph Lowndes, Clerk to the Guardians of the Wolstanton and Burslem Union] to the Poor Law Commission, listing the names or districts of the public vaccinators and the numbers and ages of people vaccinated for the year ended 29 September 1845. Also noted are the number of births in the union during the year and any observations. The public vaccinators named are: Daniel Ball (Burslem North East), Samuel Goddard (Burselm South West), Charles Davenport (Tunstall), George Tait (Wolstanton). Paper number: 14889/B/1845. Poor Law Union Number 415. Counties: Staffordshire.
