Folios 496-499. Letter from Lieutenant Colonel WP Colyear Robertson asking whether any amendments had been deemed necessary to the petition sent to him through the Lord Advocate before it could be laid before the king. Enclosed is a formal request for the home secretary's support for the re-formation of the Scotch Brigade signed by Robertson on behalf of the field officers, captains and subalterns of the 6 battalions employed until 1783 in the Dutch Republic.
