Folios 489-491. Letter to Evan Nepean [under-secretary] from George Parker of 63 John Street, Blackfriars Road [Southwark] pleading for relief for his starving family, stating that the only people to have helped him during his illness (donating 1½ guineas) had been [Thomas] Orde and the Reverend William Peters, but that Orde could not find him employment. Parker states that he had suffered much after Orde had left him in Ireland and that, although apologising for having written some impertinent letters, he had given good service and been much wronged.
