Folios 297-299. Letter from J P Harding, of Burslem, Solicitor to the Guardians, to the Poor Law Commission, expressing his concern that he has not heard from the Commission since sending the deeds etc of the Wolstanton workhouse on 4 December 1840 and requesting confirmation of their safe arrival. Annotated: Mr Lumley [William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Commission]. 12 January 1841. See Paper number: 13589/B/1840, 14 January 1841.
