Description

Folios 1-2: Thomas Tandy, aged 25, captain's servant; sick or hurt, headache, pain of his back and limbs, attributes his complaint to being much exposed to the sun of Batavia; put on sick list, 2 November 1814, off Sumatra; died 18 November 1814, at sea.

Folios 2-3: William Henry, aged 23, ordinary seaman; sick or hurt, pain of the breast and stomach with griping and tenesmus; put on sick list, 17 November 1814, Straits of Banca; died 22 December 1814 at sea.

Folios 3-4: Edward Rielly, aged 27, private, marine; sick or hurt, cough and expectoration of mucus, pain of the breast, loss of appetite or debility; put on sick list, 12 July 1814, China; discharged 30 December 1814 invalided to Madras hospital.

Folio 4: Evan Price, aged 36, ordinary seaman; sick or hurt, chronic dysentery; put on sick list, 11 September 1814, off Amboyna; discharged 30 December 1814 invalided to Madras hospital.

Folio 6: John Throwson, aged 30, ship's corporal; sick or hurt, fractured tibia and tibula of the left leg (being given a passage to join his proper ship the Owen Glendower); put on sick list, 22 December 1814, at sea; discharged 30 December 1814 to Madras hospital.

Folios 6-7: James Watt, aged 25, landsman; sick or hurt, pain and tension of the right hypochondrium extending up to the clavicle and top of the right shoulder, increased on pressure, difficulty of breathing; put on sick list, 29 December 1814, Madras Roads; discharged 9 February 1815 to duty.

Folios 7-8: Thomas Lloyd, aged 35, boatswain; sick or hurt, being ashore on liberty got very much intoxicated and as he was coming to the boat at night fell down into a deep ditch at the landing place and fractured the left femur below the middle of the bone nearly in a transverse direction; put on sick list,12 December 1814, Pulo-Penang; discharged 20 February 1815 to duty.
