Chapel Alterations: Commemoration of Chancellors and Prelates. An extract from minutes of meeting of officers, 24 February, 1936.

Prelates of the Order of St Michael and St George since 1905:

  • 1905 Henry Hutchinson, some time Bishop of Tasmania.
  • 1933 St Clair Donaldson, Bishop of Salisbury.
  • 1936 Michael Purse, Bishop of St Albans.

Chancellors of the Order of St Michael and St George since 1905:

  • 1905 John, Duke of Argyll.
  • 1914 Frederic, Baron Chelmsford.
  • 1916 Albert Earl Grey.
  • 1917 henry, Marquess of Lansdowne.
  • 1920 Sydney, Earl Buxton.
  • 1934 Alexander, Earl of Athlone.

A copy of Lettering - A Handbook of Modern Alphabets; The Dorno Workshop and Studion, WC1; two copies of a receipt for inscriptions to panels; and a letter from Maides Brothers.
