Description

Licence number 6746: Henry Rowley.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Larceny at the Quarter Sessions at Clerkenwell Green, Middlesex on 30 May 1853.

Then aged [not given] years and by trade a [not given].

Sentence: 7 years tranportation.

Licence granted 27 December 1856, for early release from Portsmouth prison.

Comments: Licence revoked 17 June 1857, caption returned 2 July 1857. Revocation order only.
