Description

Licence number 6521: James Roadley.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Receiving property, a pair of slippers with previous convictions at the Quarter Sessions at Leicester, Leicestershire on 18 October 1852.

Then aged 47 years and by trade a Pot hawker.

Sentence: 10 years tranportation.

Licence granted 30 September 1856, for early release from Dartmoor prison.
