Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Theft aggravated by habit and repute and pevious conviction for theft at the Circuit Court of Justiciary at Glasgow, Scotland 27 September 1852.
Then aged 41 and by trade a Labourer.
Sentence: 7 years Transportation.
Licence granted 31 May 1856, for early release from Dartmoor prison.
