Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Theft of money from the person at the Circuit Court of Justiciary at Stirling, Scotland 16 September 1852.
Then aged 50 and by trade a Cattle dealer.
Sentence: 7 years Transportation.
Licence granted 31 May 1856, for early release from Dartmoor prison.
