Licence number 5754: William Brown.
Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Ship breaking and theft of blankets and housebreaking and theft of wearing apparel at the Circuit Court of Justiciary at Dumfries, Scotland 21 April 1852.
Then aged 46 and by trade a Tailor.
Sentence: 7 years Transportation.
Licence granted 31 May 1856, for early release from Dartmoor prison.
