Description

Licence number 5698: David Blyth alias David Phillips.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Theft by housebreaking with previous convictions at the Circuit Court of Justiciary at Jedburgh, Scotland 14 April 1853.

Then aged 18 and by trade a Peddler.

Sentence: 7 years Transportation.

Licence granted 17 May 1856, for early release from Portland prison.
