Description

Licence number 5697: Peter Hutchinson alias Peter Blyth alias Peter Blythe.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Theft by housebreaking with previous convictions at the Circuit Court of Justiciary at Jedburgh, Scotland 14 April 1853.

Then aged 20 and by trade a Labourer.

Sentence: 7 years Transportation.

Licence granted 17 May 1856, for early release from Portland prison.

Licence revoked 17 December 1856.
