Description

Licence number 5695: Matthew Tostevin.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Burglary with previous convictions for Robbery at the Royal Court of Guernsey, Channel Islands 28 May 1853.

Then aged 31 and by trade a Farmer.

Sentence: 7 years Transportation.

Licence granted 17 May 1856, for early release from Portland prison.
