Description

Licence number 5694: William Jamieson.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Stealing from the person. at the Quarter Sessions at Lancaster, Lancashire 20 May 1852.

Then aged [not given] and by trade a [not given].

Sentence: 10 years Transportation.

Licence granted 17 May 1856, for early release from Portland prison.

Licence revoked 20 May 1861, caption returned March 3 1861. No Caption order. Order for a licence to be at large only.
