Licence number 4588: Charles Lane.
Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Stealing a silk purse, five shillings and sixpence in silver from the person of Sarah Huddon at the Quarter Sessions at Taunton, Somerset 25 October 1852.
Then aged 15 years and by trade a Bootcloser.
Sentence: 7 years transportation.
Licence granted 21 November 1855, for early release from Parkhurst prison.
