This series contains a continuous series of journals recording receipts and expenditure by, successively, the Office of Woods, Forests, Land Revenues, Works and Buildings, from 1832 to 1851, the Office of Woods, Forests and Land Revenues, from 1851 to 1924, and the Office of Crown Lands, for the year 1924/1925. Most volumes end with a balance sheet.

It is not certain whether these volumes were placed in the Office of Land Revenue Records and Enrolments simply for safe-keeping, or were deposited in response to a statutory requirement.
