- Folios 217-218. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, forwarding documents relating to Hannah Atkins be sent to his Kidderminster address. Enclosed is a statement from Thomas Thursfield, Medical Officer, giving the medical reasons for the death in Kidderminster Workhouse of Hannah Atkins. She was admitted to the workhouse on 11 February 1841 and gave birth on 6 April 1841. The immediate cause of her death was a perforated ulcer which led to acute intestinal infection. Paper number: 6167/B/1841. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
