- Folio 211. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, referring to the letters sent by Saunders on 3 and 20 April about the purchase of land at Lower Mitton. Sanction is refused, the Commissioners considering that the money should go to the poor rate fund as had been originally intended. Reference is made to a letter sent by Henry Saunders on 23 June 1840. Paper number: 3997/B/1841 and Paper number: 4684/B/1841. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
