- Folios 201-202. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, referring to the election of Poor law Guardians for Bewdley. Saunders had received the nomination papers too late for acceptance, but when it was realised that the letters had in fact been in his office in time he had issued the voting papers. One nominee was not eligible for office; another owned £30 of property among different parishes in the union and thus was qualified to stand. He asks for guidance in the case of late nominations or unqualified nominees. Paper number: 3583/B/1841. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
