Folios 103-104. Letter from William Lowther reminding the Home Office of the positive response it had made to Lord Sydney's application on behalf of a young man named [William] Vevers under sentence of transportation, seeking indulgence on the passage and recommendation to the governor on arrival in New South Wales. Lowther understands Vevers, aboard the Prudentia hulk at Woolwich, to be in daily expectation of sailing.
