Letter from Joseph White, Treasury Solicitor, stating that he had been unable to meet [William] Metcalfe in time to send him to a certain meeting, but that he had been able to send another person whose report is enclosed [wanting]. The man's reliability will be able to be assessed when his report can be compared with any others received.
