Folios 22-23, 41-42: Elizabeth Franklyn, aged 23; sick or hurt, hysteria; put on sick list 2 March 1831, discharged 5 April 1831, was readmitted [folio 41] on 27 April 1831, for paramenia obstructionis, discharged 16 May 1831.
Folio 25: Mary Hornet, aged 31; sick or hurt, paramenia difficilis; put on sick list 28 March 1831, discharged 4 April 1831.
Folios 25-28: Catherine Grant's child, aged 9 months; sick or hurt, marasmus atrophia, this child was weaned just before he was embarked and milk until that time formed a part of his diet, unfortunately there is no article of provision supplied us that can become a suitable substitute for this bland and nutrition food, I Apprehend that it was from this cause the child's digestive organs fell into a diseased state; put on sick list 24 March 1831, died 3 April 1831 at 5 o'clock.
Folios 28-30: Ann Marsden, aged 26; sick or hurt, pneumonitis, complained of cough, tighness of the chest with oppressed respiration, 9th April [folio 30] she was troubled with diarrhoea during the night, her strength is now much reduced, she cough but seldom and each time bring up a considerable quantity of dark coloured pus, she rested quietly through the night and vomited a little bilious matter in the forenoon; put on sick list 15 March 1831, died 10 April 1831 at 4.30 o'clock.
Folios 30-34: Elizabeth Graham, aged 24; sick or hurt, dysenteria; put on sick list 6 March 1831, discharged 30 March 1831, the patient is pregnant and draws very near the time of her reckoning, she was allowed to remain in the hospital until her confinement took place, [folio 33] on 13th April about 11.30 she was delivered of a fine male infant.

Folios 42-44: Elizabeth Hollier, aged 20; sick or hurt, peritonitis, the patient was approching near the time of her delivery, and was affected with chilliness followed by acute pain a little below the umbilicus, which gradually extended over the whole abdomen increased by coughing and painful to the slightest touch; put on sick list 2 May 1831, died 7 May 1831 at 11.30.

Folios 48-49: Surgeon's general remarks regarding a case of small pox which occurred on board after the ship sailed from England, the subject of it was received from Newgate a few days before the ship left Woolwich, in which the surgeon having heard that the disease prevailed in the prison, and the surgeon vaccinated the child directly when she was brought on board, the vesicle formed in the usual way and ran through its accustomed stages, this vaccination the surgeon believed kept the small pox in check and retarded its appearance.
