Folios 8-10: Robert Edwards, aged 36; taken ill at Amboina, sick or hurt, ulcered foot; taken ill on 24 February 1802, discharged 7 March 1802 to duty.

Folios 8-9: Robert Lamb, aged 27; taken ill at sea, sick or hurt, ulcered foot; taken ill on 25 February 1802, discharged 2 March 1802 to duty.

Folio 8: William Chaplin, aged 30; taken ill at sea, sick or hurt, ulcered foot; taken ill on 25 February 1802, discharged 1 March 1802 to duty.

Folios 8-13: Henry Hills, aged 30; taken ill at sea, sick or hurt, amputated toe his toe after amputation degenerated into ulcer; taken ill on 25 February 1802, discharged 31 March 1802 to duty.

Folios 10-12: Duncan McGregor, aged 28; taken ill at Ternate, sick or hurt, dysentery he was much subject to frequent attacks of flux; taken ill on 10 March 1802, discharged 23 March 1802 to duty.

Folio 10: 6 March 1802; all those on the list are stationary neither better nor worse the nitric acid gives a florid appearance to ulcer but creates much pains, I can not determine whether it will prove serviceable to ulcer.

Folio 10: 9 March 1802; the Island of Ternate is one of the Molucca Islands at lat 1° North, although near the equator the climate is moderately cool with some rain our men are quite healthy independent of ulcers which seem peculiar to this moist climate.

Folio 13: 28 March 1802; pleasant weather since we sailed from Ternate the fever cases and cold are not from epidemic but from intemperance or exposing themselves to night dew by sleeping on deck.

Folio 14: John Adrian, aged 13, boy; taken ill at sea, sick or hurt, intermittent fever he was a youth of Ternate volunteered to come on board as a servant he has had a diseased spleen for sometime but was conceal it on coming on board owing to the ship being on the eve for Banda I though it prudent to sent him to hospital; taken ill on 5 April 1802, sent 5 April 1802 to hospital.

Folios 14-15: Moris Fegan, aged 46; taken ill at sea, sick or hurt, dysentery he was much relieved until after the effect of mercury abated then the purging return accompanied with tenemus; taken ill on 5 April 1802, sent 12 April 1802 to hospital.

Folio 14: Theops [Theophilus] Lawson, aged 30; taken ill at sea, sick or hurt, cold; taken ill on 7 April 1802, discharged 13 April 1802 to duty.

Folio 14: 8 April 1802; this month few days dry from the time we sailed to Banda until our return rain every days [however] very few of the ship’s company suffered by the weather 2 or 3 slight clods only.
