Description

Folio 21: 14 August 1821; J [Spoon?] and W Peacock by the sentence of 5 captains of the messes cobbed for thieving.

Folios 21-22, 38: John Wild, convict, taken ill at [sea]; sick or hurt, catarrh; put on sick list 16 [15] August 1821, discharged 19 [21] August 1821 cured.

Folios 21-22, 25, 38: William Bell, convict, taken ill at [sea]; sick or hurt, catarrh; put on sick list 17 [16] August 1821, discharged 17 August 1821 cured.

Folio 21: 17 August 1821; saw the island of St Paul and hauled up for it [at] 4 pm. Sent away the Jolly boat to fish.

Folio 21: 18 August 1821; made sail on the voyage the weather being too boisterous to fish.

Folios 22, 27, 38: George Smith, convict, taken ill at [sea]; sick or hurt, dislocated his right knee by slipping under the spars; put on sick list 20 August 1821, sent 17 [18] September 1821 to Sydney hospital.

Folio 22: 20 August 1821; double ironed H Smith and Joshua Jacob for attempt robbery, confined on bread and water H Lee for striking a captain of the deck.

Folios 26-27, 40: William Tatterson, soldier, taken ill at [sea]; sick or hurt, catarrh; put on sick list 14 September 1821, discharged 19 September 1821 cured.

Folio 26: 15 September 1821; at 5 pm spoke the ship Brixton from the Dervent to Port Jackson.

Folio 26: 16 September 1821; 10 am in Sydney [har]bour, delivered dispatches to the naval office.

Folio 26: 17 September 1821; 2 pm. Sent the prisoners to the military hospital.

Folio 27: 18 September 1821; 10 am. Mr Goulburn colonial secretary, come on board and mustered the convicts.

Folio 27: 19 September 1821; the deputy commissary came on board and issued a full suit of clothes to each convict, 3 pm. Received orders for convicts to disembark in the morning.

Folio 27: 20 September 1821; at daylight the dockyard boats come along and disembarked all the convicts and at 10 the guard disembarked also, at ½ past 10 the convicts were inspected by the lieutenant governor where they expressed themselves satisfied with their treatment during the voyage.
