Copy letter from John St. Aubyn, Stratford Place to the Navy Board. I understand the building of a house for the Port Admiral at the end of George Street, Plymouth Dock, has been stopped due to the expense of buying the lessee's interest in the houses, which would have to be demolished. Have directed the agent to purchase the remaining houses at my expense, and will give the freehold of the whole ground necessary for the building, or convey it in such terms as the Government may approve..
