Copy letter from Charles Bicknell, Spring Garden Terrace to the Navy Board. Gives his opinion on the rights of Sir John Eames in relation to the storehouses at St John's, Newfoundland, purchased by him from Dixon and Company in 1804 and expressed in the Grant to Dixons by Governor Elliott in 1786. Suggest consideration is given to pay for the value of the buildings or to give notice to Sir John Eames to remove them. Feels he has a fair claim for rent for the time the Government occupied the buildings, supposing he had not been given notice to remove them..
