Description

William Wellesley Pole. The Centurion was to have called at Falmouth for the Esdaile storeship which had parted company from the Iphigenia while bound for Halifax. The Centurion sailed from Spithead 17th August 1808 and, as of the 20th, had not called at Falmouth. Request an order for a convoy since the Esdaile was to bring home urgently required small spars and deals from Halifax.
