Hon. William Wellesley Pole. Lieutenant Whiston has applied for dispensation for his books and papers for the time he commanded the Imogen sloop. A muster book has been received for the time he commanded her between June and August 1806 but no other books or papers for passing his accounts. His successor's slop book includes the issue of slops during the period and do not object to dispensation. The Victualling Office have received no papers for the period of his command nor has any quarterly account been received but as the time is very short and Lieutenant Garth has no objection to including the account of Lieutenant Whiston in his own, opine the papers can be dispensed with
