Hon. William Wellesley Pole. James Anderson has applied for dispensation for his log book for the time he was Midshipman and Acting Master in the Ulysses. Mr. Anderson's Foreign Remove ticket shows he was discharged from the Service by order of the Commander in Chief on the Leeward island station for misconduct and we see no reason for granting dispensation for his log book
