Hon. William Wellesley Pole. Vice Admiral Vasham asks permission to draw pay and other allowances due him as Rear Admiral from the date of his last bill to his promotion as Vice Admiral. He has drawn bills for flag pay and table money to March 1808 and is not entitled to draw another bill to April. The Act of Parliament does not authorise officers to draw bills for pay for a period less than 3 months.
