Description

William Wesley Pole. Sir H E Stanhope has ordered the Masters of the Dromedary and Serapis Storeships to row guard alternately every night opposite the Deptford dockyard. Point out the impracticability of these Storeships complying, as the few men on board are employed all day loading and unloading their ships, and therefore cannot be expected to row guard during the night. Ask for the Admiral to be requested not to interfere with the ships, which are under the control of the Board.
