Letter from William Wilson, Regulating Officer, Lerwick Rendezvous to the Board. The changes to the gang since the previous quarter are Robert Irving deceased and George Lauther entered on the Wegion Schooner. Report on behaviour of Robert Watson. Keith S Scott was on liberty being unrequired from October to December and is now employed in Watson's place. He asks to be allowed to pay the volunteers' bounties to encourage others. His Press warrant has expired, but propose to continue until further orders. The Gang were sent to Unst to examine a suspicious vessel, having consulted the Commanding Officer at Fort Charlotte. It was found to be the Three Sisters of Hamburg from Bremen bound for Philadelphia with Emigrants. There is a charge for traveling expenses relating to this.
