William Wesley Pole. Proposal to facilitate the transportation to England from New South Wales of cut timber suitable for ship building, that a store is maintained in New South Wales, of timber ready for shipment. From the specimens returned on the Calcutta recommend Stringy Bark, Iron Bark, Box and Mahogany are of the most durable quality. Understands the Sinclair Transport is at Spithead under orders for New South Wales and it could convey instructions to the Governor.
