William Wesley Pole. There are advantages in sending dollars to Naval officers at Bombay, Madras, Halifax and Malta. Consider it advisable to send £60,000 in dollars to Madras in the ensuing season. The procedures suggested by Mr Huskisson, should be authorized and ask by which ship they will be sent, to ensure that the Treasurer of the Navy will not be instructed to apply for money to purchase the dollars before a conveyance to India is provided for them.
