Copy letter from John Dawson at Broad Haven Ballina to Vice Admiral Bowen enclosing the monthly return of the Sea Fencibles in the district and a report regarding the signal stations (not now attached). The signal masts sent by Admiral Whitehed were erected at Benwer Mountain and Glinsk at the least possible expense but the nature of the ground required extensive excavation. Request directions for payment for the work..
