John Chaseau and Robert Goodwin in final payment for the signal houses built at Vardes Neirmont and Tower of Jerbourg on Guernsey. Reports that Sir Edmund Nagle and Sir John Doyle have surveyed the coast of Guernsey and propose signal stations at Fort Saumarez, Pleinmont, Mount Hermat, Prevote, Icart, and Fort George to complete the chain..
