Description

William Marsden. It has been proposed that we should have an increase of workmen and an extension of hours at Portsmouth metal mills. Opine that we employ as many workmen as we can and have already extended their hours. The quantity of sheet produced is still insufficient and we are seeking tenders to re-manufacture the old copper and nails in store at Deptford, Woolwich, Chatham and Sheerness as directed
