William Marsden. Rear Admiral Martin has queried the imprest against his pay. There was an Admiralty order for his to be paid flag pay and compensation for servants from January to November 1806 but there was no authority for the allowance of table money during the absence of Admiral Montagu which has been charged as an imprest against him. A bill drawn by Admiral Montagu for table money is for 27 days less that his entitlement as he was absent from his command. Admiral Martin has only claimed for 24 days and asks for directions
