Description

Original letter from J. Chenoweth, Purser, on board Cameleon at Malta to Messrs. Ommaney & Druce advising them that the accounts of Captain Maitland were sent on the Trusty in Aboukir Bay to William Hove, late Purser of the Kent. William Davison, Master of the Kent and Executor for Mr. Hove, cannot locate the papers..
