Description

William Marsden. State how Mr Walter Baker Tanton, presently confined in the Marshalsea Prison, appears on the books of the Magicienne and Firm, Gun Brig. He was borne on the Firm as Clerk from October 1804 until discharged in February 1805. On the Magicienne from July 1805 to December 1805, when a Court Martial sentenced him to be discharged. State that it is not necessary for him to attend in person to receive his pay but a person to whom he has given Power of Attorney may attend on his behalf.
