Description

William Marsden. Mr Moore lists three men belonging to the 2nd Battalion of the 56Th Regiment who have surrendered themselves as deserters from the Navy. How these men appear on the books of the ships they claim to have deserted from. Roger O'Connor alias King, born Westmeath, Ireland appears as Ordinary in the Pauline from May 1803 to October 1803. Thomas Atkins, born at Charlestown, South Carolina, appears as Able in the Pique from December 1802 to October 1803. David Williams is not found on the books of the Utrecht from her commissioning in September to her paying off in April 1806.
