Description

William Marsden. Mr William Walker, Carpenter of the Africaine, Ship, has written objecting to the letter R having been placed against his name on the Muster Book of his ship by Commissioner Hope. Are sending a copy of an explanatory letter from Commissioner Hope and ask if, bearing in mind the circumstances surrounding Mr Walker's case and his deranged mind, the R might be removed.
