Description

William Marsden. The Admiralty directed that the houses which will become vacant on the superannuation of Commissioners Sir John Henslow, Duncan and Harwood, are not to be occupied by other Commissioners without further Admiralty direction. Advise that only two houses will become vacant since the house for Commissioner Harwood, left vacant upon the superannuation of Sir William Bellingham in August 1803, has been occupied ever since by Sir Francis Hartwell
