Description

William Marsden. David Hutchinson, Boatswain of the Prison ship Genereux asks to be paid compensation for a second servant, having been allowed one only between August 1805 and January 1806. Asks whether warrant officers serving in prison and convalescent ships, or ships stationed on harbour duty, should not have the same compensation for servants as they would be entitled to in ships with a war complement
