Description

William Marsden. The Admiralty order of March 1806 directed that Masters considered unfit for further sea duty, should be superannuated and allowed a pension equal to half pay their length of service entitled them. We gave the name of Daniel Ross by mistake as his length of service does not entitle him to half pay and we propose to retain him on the list of Masters
