Copy report by Commissioner Hope summarizing the charges against William Knott laid by George Balfour and John Stradwick, and statements from labourers John Driver, Samuel Follett, Francis Chapman, John Mitchell and Andrew Johnson all of which confirm that it is the custom when collecting ballast in the boat to supply wheel barrows and wood to help with the work, all of which are returned afterwards.
